Pushing Hands

Complete Tai Chi study requires pushing hands practice. Pushing hands greatly improves your Tai Chi abilities and your understanding of principles as you begin to interact with a partner. Women can find their own power and confidence and men can relax and become more responsive.

Joining Hands

Joining Hands

As well as practicing the more energetic form of 'Pushing Hands', in the Golden Flower Style, we also practice a lighter form called 'Joining Hands'. This is a partner exercise where you stand facing each other and learn to respond to and feel each other's energies. The process also cultivates and balances your energy and can leave you feeling enlivened and uplifted.
