Types Of Classes Offered

At our school works a few classes: a common class Tai Chi, children's class Tai Chi, self-defense class and summer free class.

Descriptions Of Classes

Common Tai Chi class. The beginners and advanced pupils of all ages study together Tai Chi basics, Golden Flower Form and many related techniques. It makes perfect training for beginners and an opportunity for the advanced pupils to pass on what they know.

Children's Tai Chi class. In this busy class the children are 6 years old and older. They study the same things as adults, but in more accessible form for children. And frequently the children perceive complex knowledge easier than their older colleagues and are more natural. But they have much more time to run about, be noisy, shout and have a lot of fun!

Self-defense Class. These specialized lessons for advanced students, desiring to deepen their knowledge of Tai Chi and develop applied skills. The knowledge of applications helps connection mind and body and achieve harmony between them. To learn to transform one's own aggression to energy of development is a perfect purpose!

Free summer class. During the "warm" season (this is approximately from May to September) there is a summer free class in the fresh air, where each student can come to participate and to get acquainted with Tai Chi. This is the time for Tai Chi practice among birches in one of city's parks where we go weekly every Tuesday and spend about two hours together.

About the Instructors

The Chief Instructor Vladimir Pankov began to study Tai Chi under the guidance of master San Gee Tam in August 1992. And it was started in Omsk!

In February-March 1993 in Great Britain he took individual training with Master San Gee Tam. In subsequent years he repeatedly returned to master San Gee Tam for raising personal qualification. In March 1993 Vladimir began to teach first pupils and in May opened in Omsk his first Tai Chi class.

Thanks to San Gee Tam for inspiration!

In November 1995 Vladimir Pankov received his professional certificate as a Golden Flower Tai Chi instructor. In past years he has trained extensively in the Long Form, Short Form, several modifications of the Golden Flower Form, Pushing Hands, Meditation, Chi Kung, Po Chi, basics of sword wielding and a range of other exercises.
